Slater Primary has one class of 30 pupil places for each school year, from Reception through to Year 6.
Admissions for the Reception class are dealt with by Leicester City Local Authority.
Slater Primary is a state maintained community primary school which adheres to Leicester City Local Authority regulations for admissions, in-year admissions and statutory admission times.
If parents wish to appeal against a decision that has refused their child a school place at Slater Primary, they need to complete the 'notice of appeal' form on the Leicester City Local Authority's website. The Appeals Process.
An appeal is heard by an independent panel, who will consider evidence from you and us about how they have applied the admissions policy in your case. The panel make its decision after hearing both sides, and the decisions they make is legally binding.
