Welcome to Slater Primary School.
Hello! I extend a warm welcome to you on your visit to our school website.
I hope that you will feel that Slater Primary is the school you wish to choose for your child. At Slater our children are at the heart of everything we do; our children come first. Only the best is good enough for our children and this is why staff work so very hard to try to give our children the very best education that we can.
We wish our children to have special and happy memories of their time at Slater and we value highly the positive relationships we have built between children, parents, staff, governors and the local community.
Children get one chance with their education and at Slater we want this to be the very best. There is a strong determination to ensure that pupils and adults in the school do the very best that they can. We believe that a good education, through effective teaching and learning can increase our pupils’ life chances by producing mature, responsible individuals, critical thinkers and positive contributors to society.
We are committed to continually improving the outcomes for children in terms of the Every Child Matters agenda. We work and learn together with parents, and strive to go the extra mile, to make our families’ lives better.
Slater is a very small school with only 7 classes. The school is a happy, stimulating and caring place that exudes a warm and caring atmosphere.
