Curriculum & Teaching (Intent)
Our D&T curriculum is crafted to inspire and equip our diverse, multicultural student body with creativity and practical skills for an ever evolving technological world. Rooted in our ethos “Together We Believe. Together We Achieve” we emphasize collaborative learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students learn to innovate, collaborate, evaluate, and apply cross-curricular knowledge to design solutions for real-world challenges.
Personal Development & Wellbeing (Implementation)
Our curriculum includes hands-on projects using diverse materials and technologies, ensuring cultural inclusivity and relevance. We integrate sustainability principles and encourage reflection on ecological impact.
Achievement (Impact)
Pupils develop originality, resilience, and the ability to evaluate and refine their designs. They demonstrate understanding of sustainability and technological processes. By the end of KS2, students can confidently apply design principles and practical skills, preparing them for future learning and responsible citizenship.
