Curriculum & Teaching (Intent)
Our science curriculum ignites curiosity and fosters a lifelong passion for discovery. We aim to provide a stimulating, inclusive environment where every child feels valued. Lessons reflect diverse perspectives and make science relevant to pupils’ lives, emphasizing questioning, fair testing, and evidence-based conclusions.
Personal Development & Wellbeing (Implementation)
We use hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and real-world applications to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Scientific vocabulary is explicitly taught to support EAL learners. Teachers create memorable experiences through outdoor learning and cross-curricular links.
Achievement (Impact)
Pupils develop strong scientific knowledge and investigative skills. They can articulate ideas confidently, apply concepts to real-world contexts, and demonstrate enthusiasm for further scientific inquiry.
